community and education

art in the community and in education
I strongly believe in the connective and remedial power of art in the lives of young people and the necessity for an arts education from a young age.

Below are just a few examples of the projects and programs I have been involved with over the past 10 years. I have worked in partnership with a wide variety of organisations both within formal education and informal learning, including theatre groups, health organisations and voluntary agencies, working with children, young people and adults from diverse communities and backgrounds.

project management
Since 2001, I have worked as a Freelance Project Manager, with a focus on arts and theatre events for children and young adults, in schools and in the community. Clients have included Walk the Plank and the Children's Fund, Creative Partnership and Ordsall Community Arts. Please get in touch through the contact page for further details
