In April of 2014, I had the opportunity to work with the 1st and 2nd grade students of the Integrated Arts Academy in Burlington, VT during an arts-integrated residency, with a focus on mathematics, social studies and visual arts. In January 2013, I will be the resident artist in Essex Middle School, VT teaching Rangoli. We will be learning about processes, materials and methodology as well as creating our own designs and working on individual tiles using dyed rice, pulses and grains.
